The Norwegian Opera & Ballet: The marble and glass building in Bjorvika features award-winning architecture and world-class opera and ballet performances. The Opera House is open to the public, and walking on the roof is a popular activity .Norwegian Museum of Cultural History: Norsk Folkemuseum is situated at Bygdoy in Oslo and is one of the oldest and largest open air museums in the world. Open all year, it consists of 155 historic buildings from all over Norway, including its own old town and a stave church from around 1250 AD.

Bergen is surrounded by one of the world's most spectacular tourist attractions -The Norwegian Fjords, which have now been included on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
UPCOMING EVENTS
Bergen Games festival: From 24 July-1 Aug, 2015 International Games Festival will take place in the city centre of Bergen with tournaments in yatzy, chess, darts and backgammon. NM Tournaments (Norwegian Champi onships) will be held in poker and Ludo, amongst others.The festival will take place at Torgalmenningen and at many of the city's cafes.The Riddu Riddu festival up north in the village of Manndalen in Kåfjord is an indigenous festival, with artistes and audience from all over the world. Focusing on Sámi and Indigenous peoples art and culture with a diverse programme for children, youth and adults tend to enjoy music, film, seminars, workshops, art, literature and theatre. July is the favoured month for this annual fest. Join in! Arctic Race: For the third time in history, Norway will host the northernmost road cycling competition in the world, the Arctic Race of Norway . From 13 ­ 16 August, visitors to Troms and Nordland can watch international and Norwegian cyclists test their endurance and courage over four stages of winding and mountainous roads.
This year, the race will take place in some of the most picturesque landscape Norway has to offer, and the final stage of the 2015 race will see the cyclists cross the finish line in Narvik.
