GADGET GIZMO SPECIAL
COMING SOON! (3)

A fresh bunch of startups are concentrating on mobile tech to build innovative accessories for your smartphone. All of these are set to hit the market within the next few months. The good thing is they're available for pre-order and yes, they all ship to India

ALLBE1
A llBe1 is a multi-purpose wearable developed in Israel that's equipped with an infrared sensor, accelerometer, GPS and range detector. When paired with your phone, it can be  used to sound an intruder alert, track objects or people, used as a fitness tracker, a thermometer, a smartphone lock, an SOS transmitter, to detect motion, ultraviolet light, and more.
You can wear it on your wrist or around your neck; you can use it to record ambient temperature, to tag your belongings, install it at the main door for security; or on a dog collar to track whereabouts. The mobile app lets you connect to multiple AllBe1s, so you can configure them individually and view the data it collects.
The ecosystem is built on an `open' platform so that third-party developers can create additional applications for this device.

MYLE TAP
The Myle Tap is a wearable recorder that captures voice notes and saves it to its app installed on a smartphone when it's within Bluetooth range. Just tap the device to activate it.
You can then tell it what you just ate and it will count the calories consumed; mention expenditure, and it will add the amount to a budget tracker. Similarly, you can add items to your grocery list, appointments to your calendar, and post thoughts to Facebook and Twitter.
Myle Tap, developed out of Canada, uses Nuance's voice-to-text service, supports 42 languages including Hindi, and is smart enough to im prove its voice recognition quality by analyzing speech patterns.
You can configure the gadget to respond differently to multiple taps, and you also ave the option to record a 30-second voice message and edit the recognized text later from its smartphone app. And don't worry about losing this little gadget.
It will beep when the device it is paired with moves beyond 10 feet.
