TRAVEL SPECIAL Go underwater to witness a rich marine life of Andaman and Nicobar

Cinque Island, Lighthouse in Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands
One of the most unique offerings from the islands of Andaman and Nicobar is its tribal culture, exotic flora and fauna. Of course, the marine life exploration rules the roost, what with extensive coral reef diving on the platter for enthusiastic divers.
As you land in Port Blair, the capital of Andaman & Nicobar Islands, every tour guide will direct you to visit the iconic LightHouse. What's interesting is that the Lighthouse is a huge dive site, suitable for all kind of dives. Just don your snorkel and eye gear and go underwater to witness a large variety of soft and hard coral grounds.

TAKE YOUR WATERPROOF CAMERA ALONG:
Feeling a little more adventurous, then try 'Night Diving' at the Lighthouse area as it is just perfect for night dives. The wall here is actually a submerged rock. The wall drops down to a maximum of 55 meters and is home to coral life and little fish all around it.
Don't remain in disbelief about the sheer size of corals it looks like a forest underneath the sea. When bright schools of fish start circling you, capture those memories with your waterproof camera (yes, you can buy them at any leading camera outlets).

Ever heard of Black Coral? It exists at Cinque Island. Considered one of the best dive spots in A&N, the clear emerald water would look enticing to you, thanks to the visibility of up to 80 feet. The deep dive offers a terrific variety of marine life, including black coral and is ideal for the experienced divers.
