GADGET GIZMO REVIEW.......Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z+

GADGET GIZMO REVIEW   Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z+

The Wammy Passion Z+ looks cool, but feels cheap. It draws eyeballs with its sleek and different design style. And it’s surprisingly lightweight too. But that’s due to the cheap plastic. Closer inspection shows the back panel doesn’t fit flush with the phone.
The screen has true colours, is bright and shows deep blacks. It also comes with Dragontrail scratch-resistant glass.
The Z+ does not lag and stutter in regular usage, but start playing games and it struggles to keep up. And if you have a lot of apps running in the background, you will notice it lags on even simple games like Subway Surfers.
The camera has a fast shutter release, captures good colours and actually gives decent images in low light too. However, the timing of the flash isn’t aligned correctly with the shutter. Still, it’s the among the best at this price.
Android Jelly Bean requires you to install apps on your phone’s internal memory first. So despite a microSD slot, the 4GB built-in memory is a major limitation.
Wammy Passion Z+ is not for the average user who wants a usable phone out of the box. It’s a barebones unit and you will have to install all the apps manually, including Google Apps.
On average usage, you can expect around 17 hours of battery life, getting you through a day easily.
SPECS 1.5GHz quad-core processor, FullHD 5-inch screen, Dual SIM support, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 4GB memory,
1GB RAM, upto 64GB via MicroSD, FM radio, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth
The Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z+ gets it right for the most part in the hardware department, but the fact that it comes with no built-in apps makes it difficult for regular users. If you have a patient, tech-savvy friend to set this up for you, it’s good; otherwise, avoid it.
