TECH REVIEW .........Wickedleak Wammy Passion Z+

PRICE 15,990
SPECIFICATIONS 5-inch display (1920 x 1080 pixels), 1.5GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 4GB + micro SD, 13MP rear/2MP front camera, Android 4.2, 2,500 mAh Great display, good build quality, still camera performance, audio output Choppy video recording, only 1.27GB internal storage available

Wickedleak is one of the few brands in India with a full HD display — the name might strike you as odd though — it's called the Wammy Passion Z+.
One of the good things about the Passion Z+ is that it has capacitive Android buttons and not on-screen controls. This gives you the full 5-inch screen for all apps. The highlight is definitely the gorgeous display. It has great viewing angles and rich colours but is also prone to fingerprints. The phone is lightweight and feels good to hold but the white back cover tends to get dirty.
Performance from the 1.5Ghz quad-core Mediatek processor coupled with 1GB RAM is smooth. The phone ran games l i ke Re a l R a c i n g 3 a n d Shadowgun without any issues. It even was able to play and seek forward/rewind a full HD video effortlessly. However, the phone comes with 4GB internal storage out of which just 1.27GB is available for users.
The device has a near stock Android user interface, so it was weird to see that it does not come preloaded with the usual Google apps like Gmail, Maps and so on. You can, however, download them from the Play Store.
Camera quality was rather impressive — great photographs in daylight and minimal noise indoors. However, video recording in full HD was choppy (around 18 to 20fps) and in a compressed 3GP format. We had no complaints with call quality.
For the same price, if you need a better-known brand, consider the Spice Pinnacle FHD. It has similar hardware with 8GB internal storage but with a smaller 2100mAh battery.
