INNOVATION SPECIAL...INNOVATIONS IN DESIGN

INNOVATIONS IN DESIGN

Message Toaster: Read While you Eat
Nothing gets your morning going like your favourite cuppa and a piece of toast slathered in a yummy spread. But it is also the most hectic time of the day, with kids running around, people in and out, everyone trying to remind everyone else about the evening party. Next time, put it on toast. This toaster by Sasha Tseng incorporates a little message board where one can read quick notes. The message also gets “toasted” onto the bread itself.

The VIA:All-In-One Compact Cooking
This modular cooking concept offers a range of easy-to-use cooking methods in a super-compact unit that will fit on any kitchen countertop. The multifunctional design features interchangeable grilling, griddle, and induction cooking modules that receive an instant electrical charge when in place and can be used, quickly cleaned and easily stored within the base of the unit.

Off Reminder:Supercool Door Handle
How often has it happened that you are going on a vacation and remember to check the gas and switch off all the lights just as you are about to lock up? More than once, isn’t it? Go ahead and get the ‘Off’ installed! It is a door handle with connections to your mains like gas supply and electricity. Simply switch off both or either one of the services by rotating the dial & flip it back to activate it all.

EPOS-lite: The World’s Lightest Cash Register
Inspired by the Apple MacBook Air and iPhone, the EPOS-lite is a compact cash register with a built-in menu. The quickly updated menu saves restaurants or hotels from reprinting new menu data. It features built-in menu and payment options with wireless charging via the table it is placed on.
